Admin Assitant

My name is Margaret Burbano, and I am a bilingual therapist-in-training working closely with the Latinx community. I was born and raised in Queens, New York, and come from a Dominican and Ecuadorian family background. Growing up in a multicultural environment shaped my understanding of identity, resilience, and the importance of culturally informed mental health care.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Francis College in Brooklyn and moved to Georgia in 2022 to pursue new opportunities for growth. I am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Clark Atlanta University and am in my final semester of internship training.

Alongside my clinical work, I assist community members with immigration processes and administrative support, allowing me to advocate for clients both inside and outside of the therapy room. I am fluent in English and Spanish and strive to make mental health services accessible and inclusive.

My passion for serving the Latin community is what led me to pursue a career in therapy. I am committed to walking alongside individuals as they heal, grow, and reclaim their strength in a space that honors their culture and lived experiences.
